

Scholarship Committee

The Scholarship Committee is responsible for selecting the recipients of and
amounts of financial aid from the scholarship fund. The recipients of financial aid
must be members of the Nevada Municipal Clerk Association at the time the
financial aid is first awarded. The committee shall take into consideration each
recipient's financial need, character, scholastic record and involvement in the
municipal clerk profession.
Membership Committee
Gary Cordes, City of Fallon
Eddy Davis, City of Winnemucca
The Membership Committee is responsible for instituting procedures and
programs aimed at maintaining and increasing membership in NMCA. Its specific
responsibilities include analysis of membership statistics, identifying low areas of
membership, and developing campaigns to address those areas of concern. In
addition, the Committee investigates and recommends to the Executive Board
potential areas of service the NMCA might develop to attract new members.
Web and Technology Committee
Maria Aguirre, City of Henderson
The Web and Technology Committee is responsible for researching and
recommending current and new technologies beneficial to the municipal clerk
profession and business processes; sharing that information with NMCA
members and Executive Board; as well as provide Webmaster services for the
NMCA website.
