Register – Nevada Clerks Academy and Athenian Dialogue
Message to NMCA Members from Julie Torres, MMC, CRM, CPO on May 25, 2022:
We are launching our new quarterly training program with The Adaptation Advantage on August 18th. This course has been approved for 1 CMC/MMC point. NMCA members can take advantage of scholarship opportunities for these trainings. See attached flyer for details. We are extending the invitation to attend the quarterly trainings to other Nevada Local Government Agencies as well (scholarships are NOT available to non-members), so please share this information with your coworkers. This class has a limit of 100 attendees. I took the long version of this class from instructor Georgia White at Western Nevada College earlier this year and found it to be tremendously helpful in my career. Learning to adapt to the fast-paced changes in technology, politics, and post-pandemic era have not been easy. This class provides us with tools to help navigate these challenging times. Please let the board know if you have any questions. We hope you enjoy this new curriculum!
