The State of Nevada was awarded the 2010 IIMC Annual Conference early in 2008. This conference is scheduled for May 23-27, 2010 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, which leaves just a few brief years to plan and organize. We want this conference to be a great success, so we are asking for your support. If you are interested in volunteering for a subcommittee or just lending a helping hand we would love to hear from you.

Purpose: The purpose of this sub-committee is to identify and recommend possible presenters for General and Concurrent sessions as well as identify and propose Master Municipal Clerk Academy (MMCA) seminars and presenters. Additionally, this committee is responsible for the following: Meet with IIMC staff at each Annual Conference to discuss the education program; Meet with IIMC volunteers, the Director of Education, Education Associate or designated IIMC personnel during site visit(s) to discuss program ideas, conference study tours, possible presenters and working relationships. |

Exhibit Hall Subcommittee |

| Purpose: The purpose of this sub-committee is to identify and recommend possible local or regional vendors who are interested in exhibiting at the Annual Conference. They will also identify possible Exhibit Hall entertainment and meal/refreshment enhancements (i.e. morning coffee stations, refreshments for afternoon breaks), and assume financial responsibility accordingly. Additionally, this committee is responsible for the following: Coordinate volunteers to monitor the MCEF silent auction; Coordinate Door Prizes and Fund Raiser activities with lunch time entertainment. | |
